Research interests

Design and synthesis of novel biocompatible and multifunctional nanostructures for achieving targeted and effective drug delivery to different organs especially, the hard to target organs like brain, eye etc. which are being protected by different physiological barriers and are generally inaccessible to drugs administered orally or by parenteral route. Designing biocompatible drug delivery systems for effective cancer therapy. Developing novel methods for effective blood brain barrier delivery for treating glioblastomas and other neurodegenerative disorders. Developing and characterizing different drug nanoformulations with enhanced activity. Developing smart and biocompatible scaffolds for tissue engineering applications.
